PREETO manufacture complete mid-drive motor systems — the drive system, electronics, and software. We supply systems to bike manufacturers, we don't produce complete bicycles.
Is the PREETO system compliant with local e-bike regulations?
PREETO mid-drive systems are designed in accordance with major international e-bike standards.

System parameters such as power output and speed limits can be adjusted to align with local regulations.
Can PREETO motors integrate with third-party brands?
Yes. We are open to support third-party components. A pre-verified compatibility list is available on request. The PREETO battery — 720 Wh, 2.8 kg, with BMS and full app connectivity — is the recommended default for a fully validated out-of-box system.
How long will a PREETO motor last? What's covered under warranty?
5-year design life, validated through 5,000 hours of bench testing and 10,000 km of road testing. Field failure rate: below 0.5%. Warranty: 2 years from purchase.
Are PREETO motors waterproof?
It has the highest IP67 rating, which means — dustproof and waterproof to 1 m submersion for 30 minutes. Heavy rain, mud, stream crossings, and regular bike washing are within spec.
How quiet is the PREETO motor?
At working mode, the engine is below 55 dB at 1 meter — quieter than a normal conversation. All TÜV-certified. The result of helical gear transmission, a polymer composite first-stage gear, and tooth profiles tuned in an anechoic chamber. In most riding conditions, you won't notice the motor is there.
Will the assist feel natural, or will I notice the motor cutting in and out?
The PREETO system reads torque, cadence, wheel speed, and 3-axis orientation at the same time and adjusts output in milliseconds — power scales with how hard you pedal, not on a fixed threshold. No surge on starts, no drop-off on gradient transitions. On steeper slopes, an anti-rollback function holds the bike stationary when you stop, so restarts don't require a balancing act. The PREETO system sensitivity is designed to give you additional safety and comfort in technical riding situation.

PREETO offers the choice of three different platform levels for a wide range of bikes:
P60 (60Nm/600W) — Best for lightweight urban, city e-bikes, e-road and e-gravel
P90 (90Nm/750W) — For performance sportive riding, urban, travel and off-road use - e-mtb
P110 (110Nm/750W) — Designed for heavy cargo bikes or performance e-mtb and e-SUV
